Day 1: Fly UK » Barcelona
Fly from the UK to Barcelona. Upon arrival make your way to your 4* hotel for a 3 night stay.
Day 2-3: Barcelona
Barcelona looks like a city that should be known for its architecture… and, naturally, it is. From monuments in Romanesque and Renaissance styles to Gothic spires and contemporary curves, there’s little surprise Barcelona was the creative playground of acclaimed architect Antoni Gaudí. Barcelona’s a feast for the eyes and the palate, alike, and be sure not to miss the chance to try tapas as and visit spots like the La Rambla, Port Vell and especially Gaudí’s Sagrada Familia Cathedral. Fun beach bars overlooking the Mediterranean, sleek Spanish designer stores, and Gaudí’s surreal buildings make Barcelona, Spain a whimsical and unique place to visit.
Day 4: Embark Carnival Radiance in Barcelona
Check out of your 4* hotel and make your way to the cruise port where you will find Carnival Radiance, your home for the next 13 nights.
Day 5: Cartagena (Murcia), Spain
If you guessed that Cartagena’s name comes from the Tunisian Carthage, give yourself one history point. This “New Carthage” was founded in the third century B.C., and has continuously been a major naval port ever since. The city’s an enduring symbol of Roman dominance, with Punic walls and an amphitheatre that you can still visit today. Don’t miss the Old City neighbourhood near the port, but make sure to venture further to get the full experience — regional delights like Murcia’s 17th century Sanctuary of Fuensanta, the Moorish-built gardens of Huerto del Cura, and Lorca Castle’s Fortress of the Sun, all reward curious explorers of the Costa Calida area
Day 6: Málaga, Spain
Cruise to Málaga and enjoy one of Spain’s oldest cities. First founded by the Phoenicians, the city of Málaga had hosted a number of civilisations over its 3,000 years. The end result is a city that’s a cornucopia of Roman and Moorish influences, among others. Travel to Málaga and enjoy the city’s many museums, especially Museo Picasso Málaga… after all, this is the city where the artist himself was born. Take a side-trip to nearby Granada, where visitors can explore the Alhambra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s at once an imposing fortress, impressive palace and a small town.
Day 7: Day at Sea
You're never too far away from fun on a carnival ship! The Atrium - the entrance to the ship and to your holiday - is your first impression of all the fun to come. They make sure that this, the very heart of the ship, screams "welcome aboard the fun!" With multi-level panoramic views, the Atrium gives you the perfect place to enjoy the hustle and bustle. Let the fun really begin in The Punchliner Comedy Club. Up on stage you will find some real pros who know how to wedge a little laughter into anyone's evening.
Day 8: Funchal, Madeira
Toast your cruise to Madeira, Portugal, with a glass of sweet local wine. Located over 500 miles southwest of Portugal, this paradise is a “Garden Island” with a mountainous volcanic landscape covered in flower–filled vegetation. Swirling mosaic–patterned pavements decorate its main city Funchal, centred on the Praça do Município. It’s easy to enjoy the sweet scents of flowers and salty sea air when you set sail on your cruise to Portugal.
Day 9: Day at Sea
POOL DAYS! Whether today's the day for a bit of a dip, a dash of splash or even some swimming - or just a serious poolside lounging session - your Carnival cruise has just the pool for you. The ship's DJ, cruise director and entertainment staff will be on-hand to get things going... and to keep everyone moving.

The Azores are breathtaking, and Ponta Delgada is the capital of breathtaking. These are facts. Experience the natural wonders of a remote Atlantic Ocean outpost on a Carnival cruise to Azores. São Miguel Island is your port for Azores cruises, where you can walk the rim of an extinct volcano crater, dine on cuisine cooked in volcanic water, and marvel at buildings decked in volcanic rock. The natural spectacle continues in the waters surrounding Azores, Portugal, home to breaching whales, jumping dolphins, swimming sea turtles.
Day 11-14: Days at Sea
Your face is the first thing the world sees, and while a nice smile can make the world of difference, one of the best ways to put a smile on your face is with a nice refreshing facial! Visit the onboard spa for a little bit of 'me time'. Alternatively, want to rock'n'roll every night and every day? Well, you're onboard the right ship! Carnival Cruises bring some of the best performers on land out to sea for an ambience that can't be beat.
Day 15: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
Your first look at Halifax, Nova Scotia is from across the enormous natural harbour that also hosts the verdant George’s Island. Ships have arrived at this key Atlantic seaport just like this for centuries, including both the million immigrants who passed through in the 1900s, as well as the Halifax salvage boats recovering wreckage from the Titanic. Besides a modern city abuzz with museums and shops, you’ll find a massive fort overlooking the waterfront and idyllic villages for postcard-perfect nature walks on your Halifax cruise.
Day 16: Day at sea
Whoever said you can't always get what you want certainly never said it on a Carnival Cruise. Odds are that something from the steakhouse sounds good - Filet Mignon, New York Strip, lobster or surf & turf - and you know what? Now you can get these signature steakhouse dishes on your plate anytime you're enjoying dinner in the lively main dining room.
