Did someone say roadtrip?! Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime as you set forth into the wilderness of the Canadian Rockies. Our suggested route is to start at the picturesque town of Banff, your gateway to the National Park, fantastic hiking trails into the mountains, and stunning Lake Louise. Your onward journey to Vancouver should be a leisurely one, after all this is a holiday! So we've suggested two stays along the way in the mountain resorts of Revelstoke and Kamloops, both well known for their idyllic settings and activity options on offer. In Vancouver you're still in touching distance of the Great Outdoors, yet you can immerse yourself in the arts, shopping and the urban scenes of the city.
Then it's time to relax, but not too much! Luxurious ship Celebrity Eclipse will be your refuge from a day exploring ashore in the coastal towns and cities of Alaska. Onboard you'll discover a feast of sensory experiences, from imaginative dining to indulgent spa treatments. Keep an eye for the wildlife ashore and soak in the vista from the decks of your floating resort.
Book by 30 April for FREE drinks & Grats PLUS up to $300 onboard spend!*

Day 1: Fly UK » Calgary, and drive to Banff
Fly from the UK to Calgary. On arrival at the airport, pick up your car and head to your first destination on your adventure through the Rockies - Banff!
We've included a 3-night stay in this package, based on the Banff Caribou Lodge, but this is your adventure... so feel free to change your itinerary as you wish!

Day 2-3: Banff
If you're a nature lover, a hiker or just enjoy views and landscapes that make your heart beat just a little faster, then you'll be in paradise in Banff. Within a 45-minute drive you'll discover much-photographed Lake Louise; surrounded by majestic peaks and the Victoria glacier, which lends its blue tinge to the vivid colour of the lake itself. Banff National Park is a stunning wilderness... soak up the incredible vistas with its mountains, turquoise lakes, wildflowers and endlesss trails. Of course there's plenty of wildlife to keep an eye out for too... keep them peeled for sightings of elk, big horn sheep and Cloumbian ground squirrels, you may even hear the chatter of chipmunks!

Day 4: Banff to Revelstoke
Our package sees you driving west today, to Revelstoke - a picturesque mountain resort. The journey takes around 3.5hrs but we'd suggest an early start and make a leisurely day of it. The drive is possibly one of the most scenic in the world... a drive-by Lake Louise on your way through Banff National Park, and the pass through Glacier National Park of Canada with its exceptional alpine scenery, ancient forests and deep valleys. If you decided on a hike during your day's activities then why not stop by Canyon Hot Springs, to soothe away the aches and relax a while - it's just 25 minutes before you reach the night's destination of Revelstoke.

Day 5: Revelstoke to Kamloops
A day in Revelstoke offers a multitude of options for the adventurous and those in search of relaxation alike. From whitewater rafting, rock-climbing and dirt/mountain biking to getting a bird's eye view with paragliding or helicopter tours on offer. For a gentler approach to the day there are some fabulous walking trails through the world's only inland temperate rainforest; or the challenging golf course; or how about a day out on one of the 80 lakes with a sport fishing charter!

Day 6: Kamloops to Vancouver
There's as many activities on offer in Kamloops as you find in Revelstoke... if not more! But if paddle boarding, hiking or fishing don't appeal to you today then why not indulge your tastebuds? There's a dining venue for every whim, and several that serve up the locally grown food. There's a great craft beer scene, local ciders and Kamloops is an emerging wine region which you can discover via the Kamloops Wine Trail.
Then it's time to head for the coast, and the bustling city of Vancouver where you'll enjoy amazing art, theatre and music scenes during a 2-night stay.

Day 7: Vancouver
Just because you're in a city, doesn't mean that you can't experience the outdoors... from one of the best open-air markets in North America to the totem poles of Stanley Park, the lush VanDusen Botanical Garden to the vertigo-inducing Capilano Suspension Bridge. There's plenty on offer in this diverse city, so make sure you allow enough time to tick off your "must-do" list.

Day 8: Embark Celebrity Eclipse
Now for a drop of indulgence as you embark upon your next adventure! Head for the cruise terminal and board your luxurious home for the next 7 nights - Celebrity Eclipse. Your Alaska cruise begins when you sail this evening!

Day 9: Inside Passage cruising
The dramatic scenery of the Inside Passage has been shaped by glaciers for millions of years. The terrain here is verdant and vivid – mysterious forests blanket the towering mountains. Soak up the views from Celebrity Eclipse's one-of-a-kind Lawn Club. Relax in the sun, enjoy a drink, or even a picnic, all with real grass between your toes.

Alaska Inside Passage

Day 10: Icy Strait Point, Alaska & scenic cruising along Alaska's Inside Passage
Go whale watching, learn Tinglit tribal customs or fly high above Port Frederick on a zip-rider. Later, tuck into the ultimate halibut and chips at the Hoonah Packing Company cannery.

Day 11: Hubbard Glacier scenic cruising
The largest calving glacier on the North American continent, Hubbard Glacier calves off icebergs as high as 10-story buildings. This sends blocks of ice into the sea every few minutes.

Hubbard Glacier

Day 12: Juneau, Alaska
In Juneau some sightseeing is best done from above. View the majestic Mendenhall Glacier from the East Glacier Loop Trail, or sail via gondola to Mount Roberts. Don’t miss the crab cakes.

Day 13: Ketchikan, Alaska
Experience Eden firsthand. Kayak saltwater fjords fringed by forests, keeping an eye out for black bears and porpoises. Tour the great outdoors by foot, bike or zipline.

Day 14: Inside Passage cruising
Onboard Celebrity Cruises, dining in one of the speciality restaurants is a must. Why not try Murano? Sumptuous surroundings, impeccable service, and outstanding French cuisine. During your day at sea, why not buy those last minute mementoes or perhaps book your next cruise on board in order to receive some excellent benefits.

Day 15: Seattle
Disembark Celebrity Eclipse and a shared transfer will take you to the airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
