This incredible Stay & Cruise package includes a 2-night pre-cruise stay in the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona, and a fantastic Canary Islands voyage aboard Norwegian Spirit. In Barcelona, take a stroll through bustling Las Ramblas, visit to fascinating Park Guell or gaze in awe at gothic Sagrada Familia. Your 10-night cruise will visit the exotic Casablanca and experience one of Morocco's best-preserved medinas and the Hercules Caves. In Las Palmas in the Canary Islands, you can hop on a bus to see the seaside sand dunes of Maspalomas. Bring a towel for a dip at the beach. From Gran Canaria, journey to the other big island of the Canaries, Tenerife, where a motor coach tour will take you above the tree line and over the clouds to see Spain's tallest peak, the Teide.

Day 1: Fly UK » Barcelona, Spain
Fly from the UK to Barcelona. On arrival make your way to your 4* hotel for a 2-night stay

Day 2: Barcelona, Spain
Life in the Catalan capital is just as fast and fun as anywhere else you may visit in Europe. Take a stroll down Las Ramblas, where the street theatre is just as crazy as the fantastical Art Nouveau architecture of the city’s most famous son, Gaudi. The Gothic Quarter with its narrow streets and vast cathedral is big on atmosphere and the neighbourhood tapas bars are just the place to refill.

Day 3: Embark Norwegian Spirit
Make your own way to the Cruise Terminal where you will embark Norwegian Spirit for your 10-night Canary Islands Cruise

Norwegian Spirit

Day 4: Day at Sea
Travel in style around the Canary Islands on board Norwegian Spirit. Whilst onboard make a trip to the Tivoli Pool, soak in one of the four outdoor hot tubs, or take the kids to Buccaneer's Wet and Wild. That's just the beginning - with multiple delicious dining options, 12 bars and lounges, the Maharaja's Casino, and the Roman Spa & Fitness centre at your fingertips, you're ready to have a holiday of a lifetime!

Day 5: Casablanca
Just the name conjures up romantic images – think Bogart and Bergman and a beguiling blend of French chic and Arabian culture, where wide boulevards contrast with narrow lanes and the crowded stalls of the souks.

Day 6: Day at Sea
From the stages of the Stardust theatre they'll have you singing along, moving your feet and getting into the groove on Norwegian Spirit. Laugh all night with the on board comedians or join the signature bash, the White Hot Party.

Day 7: Las Palmas, Gran Canaria
The third largest of the Canary Islands, Gran Canaria offers a continent of contrasts. There’s the elegant capital, Làs Palmas, where Columbus once called en route to the New World; lovely beaches and the Sahara-like sand dunes of Maspalomas; and, inland, a volcanic landscape of valleys, gorges and mountains rising to 6,000 feet.

Day 8: Santa Cruz De Tenerife
Located at the eastern tip of the island of Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, Santa Cruz is a natural cruise destination as over half of its perimeter is shoreline. The beaches are lovely at that, from the yellow sands of Las Teresitas to the black sands of the quieter, clothing-optional Las Gaviotas. There's also plenty to do and see inland, especially if you're here during the spectacular Carnival.

Day 9: Funchal
Funchal has been an Atlantic stop-off since the days of the Portuguese navigators, who called here for water before the long voyage west. Today, you’re more likely to be topping up with a glass of Madeira wine before setting off to explore the beautiful Botanical Gardens, the sheer sea cliffs and the mountainous interior with its lush valleys and terraced hillsides.

Canary Islands

Day 10: Day at Sea
Sit down to a multicourse meal with a great bottle of wine or enjoy a grilled burger. Go French, Italian, Asian - you have the choice. With multiple dining options, your taste buds will always be in for a thrill.

Day 11: Malaga (Granada)
Sol and the beautiful white villages of Andalusia, Malaga is a great city in its own right. Sights to see include the Moorish Alcazaba, the hilltop Gibralfaro Castle and the birthplace of Picasso now a gallery devoted to his work. Then why not stop for lunch? The restaurants around the old cathedral are great for fish and seafood.

Day 12: Alicante
This Costa Blanca jewel lies between mountains and sea fronted with miles of beaches. Spanish Baroque at its finest, Cathedral de San Nicolas is well worth the stop. Discover the La Alcudia Archaeological Sites, a working dig occupied since the Stone Age.

Day 13: Disembark in Barcelona, Spain » Fly UK
After breakfast on board, make your own way to the airport for your flight to the UK.
