Itinerary...

Day 1: Fly UK » Shanghai
Fly overnight from the UK to Shanghai.

Day 2-4: Shanghai
On arrival, transfer to your 4* hotel for a 3-night stay.
This fabled port on the Huángpǔ River has played a pivotal role in the history of modern China. One of seven treaty ports inflicted by the West on Imperial China, the city was famed for the Bund, an elegant section of riverbank lined with European mercantile houses and elegant mansions. Shanghai was also the cradle of the Chinese Communist Party, and it is here that the People's Republic created its vast commercial and industrial bastion. Shanghai is also one of the most fascinating cities on the face of the earth. Its streets are packed with individuals, cars and bicycles, weaving an extraordinary tapestry of humanity. Yet serenity and beauty are always present, be it a class practicing early morning tai chi or the serene repose of the city's jade Buddha.

Shanghai's attractions are legendary, from exquisite temples and superb museums to the Bund's elegant 19th-century European architecture. The city is also your gateway to the Grand Canal and the legendary city of Suzhou.
Included tour: Zhujiajiao Water Town & Night Cruise Tour with Buffet Dinner
Visit the best-preserved Zhujiajiao Ancient Water Town - "Venice of Shanghai" in the afternoon, and take the Huangpu River night cruise with buffet dinner to enjoy the splendid night views of Shanghai.

Shanghai

Day 5: Embark Majestic Princess in Shanghai
Make your way to Shanghai's Cruise Terminal in Baoshan, where you'll find Majestic Princess - your home for the next 22 nights as you cruise to Australia.

Day 6: Day at Sea
From the moment you step aboard, Princess Cruises want you to feel welcomed and right at home. And with attentive service from a friendly member of staff that knows what hospitality means, you’ll find your Princess® ship truly is your home away from home.

Just like a restaurant at home, Anytime Dining enables guests the freedom to dine when and with whom they wish, at any time between 5:30 PM and 10 PM. Reservations are available through an onboard dining hotline, but not required, and diners may choose to eat only with their own group, or be seated with other guests. The choice is yours.

Day 7: Busan, South Korea
The second largest city in South Korea, Busan is your gateway to a fascinating land whose culture is a unique amalgam of old and new. Modern high-rise towers dwarf ancient Buddhist temples. The city's bustling business district offers a stark contrast to the serene grounds of Yongdusan Park. In short, Busan is a microcosm of South Korea, a nation whose startling economic success often obscures one of Asia's most sophisticated and venerable cultures.

Busan was the scene of bitter fighting during the Korean War. The United Nations Memorial Cemetery marks the final resting place for the troops from 16 nations who gave their lives during the conflict.

Busan

Day 8-9: Days at Sea
Everything you need to refresh your body and mind is right on board. Indulge in a manicure, pedicure or a makeover in the salon, or a soothing massage in the Lotus Spa®. Or maybe it’s a brisk workout in the fitness centre, followed by a little “me time” in The Sanctuary, a tranquil retreat reserved just for adults.

Day 10: Hong Kong, China
Skyscrapers form a glistening forest of steel and glass, junks and sampans ply the busy harbor waters, and the green, dragon-crested hills of Kowloon beckon. Welcome to Hong Kong, one of the world's great travel destinations. Now a semi-autonomous region of China, Hong Kong - literally "Fragrant Harbor" - has lost none of its charm, excitement or exoticism. Modern skyscrapers and luxury hotels climb the slopes of Hong Kong Island. Narrow streets are crammed with noodle vendors, fortunetellers and bonesetters. The endless array of shops offer the visitor everything from hand-tailored suits and ancient porcelain to the latest consumer electronics. And everywhere more than seven million people are moving at a breathtaking pace in one of the world's great monuments to capitalism, commerce and enterprise.

The former Crown Colony has enough attractions to last a lifetime. To take in the entire spectacle, head to Victoria Peak for panoramic views. Enjoy lunch on one of the city's floating restaurants. Walk down one of the crowded streets to take the city's rapid pulse. And whether you think you are in the mood or not - shop. After all, you are in the duty-free capital of the world.

Hong Kong

Day 11: Day at Sea
Spend the day poolside, where you can enjoy hand-tossed pizza served to you just out of the oven, or enjoy the evening at Movies Under the Stars® with fresh popcorn. Don't forget to try The Sanctuary®, a tranquil haven exclusively for adults.

Day 12: Nha Trang, Vietnam
One of Vietnam's most popular seaside resorts, Nha Trang offers white-sand beaches, azure waters and palm trees swaying in the breeze. Gaily painted fishing boats line the harbors. Small farm villages nestle in the countryside's lush valleys. Yet this relaxed city of some 300,000 souls boasts a long and storied past.

Nha Trang was the capital of the Champa Kingdom, which dominated this corner of Southeast Asia for 13 centuries. North of the city, the great Cham Tower complex overlooks the Cai River and offers mute testimony to the kingdom's glory. Today, the towers attract locals and visitors alike, many of whom come to meditate while contemplating superb views of the river and the bay.

Nha Trang's tourist district consists of a scattering of colonial-era beachfront hotels and sidewalk cafes. The city was a popular spot for U.S. servicemen during the Vietnam War.

Nha Trang

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City (Puy My), Vietnam
Over three decades have passed since the Vietnam War ended with the fall of Saigon. Today, the name of this bustling metropolis on the Mekong River is Ho Chi Minh City. Yet, the essence of the city, a major trading centre since the 18th century, remains unchanged. The air is filled with the cries of street hawkers and honking horns. Bicycles, motorbikes and automobiles fly down the boulevards at dizzying speeds. And everywhere, friendly faces and warm greetings meet you. The port of Phu My (pronounced "Foo Me") is your gateway to Ho Chi Minh City and the seaside resort of Vung Tau.

Ho Chi Minh

Day 14: Day at Sea
Sometimes floating serenely just isn't enough - splash around, or take a dip in one of this ship's bubbling hot tubs. Alternatively, Sapphire Princess can keep you on the run, literally, with paddle tennis, jogging tracks and state-of-the-art gyms equipped with machines that'll keep your heart rate pumping.

Day 15: Singapore
Singapore - the very name summons visions of the mysterious East. The commercial centre of Southeast Asia, this island city-state of four million people is a metropolis of modern high-rise buildings, Chinese shop-houses with red-tiled roofs, sturdy Victorian buildings, Buddhist temples and Arab bazaars. Founded in 1819 by Sir Stamford Raffles of the fabled East India Company, the city is a melting pot of people and cultures. Malay, Chinese, English and Tamil are official languages. Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Hinduism and Christianity are the major faiths. Singapore is an ever-fascinating island boasting colourful traditions, luxurious hotels and some of the finest duty-free shopping in the world.

Lying just 85 miles north of the Equator at the tip of the Malay Peninsula, the island was a haven for Malay pirates and Chinese and Arab traders.

Singapore

Day 16-19: Days at Sea

Day 20: Darwin, Australia
Closer to Indonesia than to any other Australian city, Darwin is the capital of the "Top End" - the remote, vast Northern Territory. Home to more than half of the territory's population, the city reflects the rugged endurance and individualism required to survive the Outback. Darwin also boasts a colourful history to add to that heritage. During World War II the Japanese bombed the city and threatened invasion. In 1974, Cyclone Tracy cut a destructive swath through the region. In addition, man-eating crocodiles, tropical monsoons, searing heat and bush fires that burn for weeks are all part of everyday life. Locals in the Top End consume over 60 gallons of beer a year. All those empties don't go to waste: Each year Darwin residents compete in the Beer Can Regatta, a race with boats, rafts and other vessels manufactured out of beer cans.

Darwin

Day 25: Brisbane, Australia
Once considered the "country cousin" among Australian cities, Brisbane is today the nation's third-largest metropolis - and one of the most desirable places to live in the country. Lying on the banks of the meandering Brisbane River, this cosmopolitan city boasts elegant 19th-century sandstone buildings, a lively cultural scene and superb parklands. Brisbane is also your gateway to uniquely Australian adventures, be it the theme parks of the Gold Coast or Queensland's dazzling beaches.

The beaches south of Brisbane form Queensland's Gold Coast. Travel tip: Brisbane is pronounced "Bris-bin."

Brisbane

Day 26: Day at Sea
It's your last full day on board... time to buy those last minute mementos, or perhaps book your next cruise on board in order to receive some excellent benefits.

Day 27: Disembark in Sydney, Australia
Disembark Majestic Princess and transfer to your 4* hotel for a 3-night stay.

Day 28-29: Sydney, Australia
As your ship passes Harbour Heads, you are presented with the shimmering skyline of Sydney - hailed by many seafarers as "the most beautiful harbor in the world." Two prominent landmarks, Harbour Bridge and the sail-like curves of the Sydney Opera House, grace the backdrop of this picturesque harbor. There is a wealth of adventure waiting in Sydney - from its cosmopolitan city centre to miles of beautiful beaches and the Blue Mountains.
Australia's oldest and largest city was born in 1788 with the arrival of the "First Fleet" transporting 760 British convicts. Today, Sydney is the largest port in the South Pacific and is often voted the most popular destination in the South Pacific.
Included tour: City, Harbour & Bondi Beach with Sydney Opera House
This half day tour is a perfect introduction to glorious Sydney. Taking in all the best photo locations, you will receive comprehensive touring of the CBD, Sydney Harbour, Bondi Beach and a live guided tour of the historic Rocks Area. At the conclusion of Sydney City Tour, join a guided tour of Australia's most famous building, the Sydney Opera House. The Sydney Opera House Essential Tour will introduce you to the innovation, creativity and controversy that forged this remarkable building.
