Overnight flight from the UK to Shanghai.
Day 2: Shanghai
On arrival you'll be met by your guide and transferred to your 4* hotel for a 2-night stay.
Day 3: Shanghai
Today’s explorations include a visit to the tranquil Yu Garden and bustling old town. Next, discover the ancient artefacts and fine arts of the Shanghai Museum. Take an educational journey through the production of silk, one of China’s most famous and luxurious materials, at the Silk Museum. Later, enjoy a cruise on the mighty Huangpu River before enjoying a Shanghainese meal this evening. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 4: Shanghai » Xian
Fly to Xian today. Once arrived, transfer to your 4* hotel for a 2-night stay. Visit the lovely Little Wild Goose Pagoda and this evening, dine on a delicious feast of Shui Jiao dumplings. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 5: Xian
Come face to face with the impressive Terracotta Warriors, built to protect the first emperor in the afterlife. Within the museum area the warriors can be seen in three different ‘pits’, which are active archaeological digs. Next, visit the Xian Arts and Ceramics Exhibition Centre to see smaller models of the warriors being made. Later, stroll on the beautifully preserved 14th century city walls that enclose Xian’s old town. Breakfast and Lunch included.
Day 6: Beijing
Board your bullet train to Beijing, China’s capital for your 2-night stay. Walk across the lengths of Tiananmen Square and into the magnificent Forbidden City. Soak up the harmonious ambience of the Temple of Heaven before feasting on the city’s most famous dish – Peking duck. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 7: Beijing
Rise early this morning and head out of Beijing to the Great Wall, arguably China’s most famous structure. Take a walk on this magnificent structure whilst admiring the dramatic scenery. Next, learn about one of China’s most symbolic and important materials at the Jade Museum. End your day with a wander round the Summer Palace before enjoying a Chinese acrobatic show this evening. Breakfast and Lunch included.
Day 8: Embark Ovation of the Seas - Tianjin for Beijing
Check out of your Beijing hotel and transfer to Tianjin Port for embarkation.
Day 9-10: Days at Sea
Sit back, kick off your shoes and put your feet up during your 'at sea' days, where you can chill in the bar, lounge by the pool or enjoy a relaxing beauty treatment in the spa. For simple pleasures, why not try a game of table tennis? Or if you’re feeling energetic, now’s the chance to explore all the amazing activities the ship has to offer, from spectacular, West-End-style entertainment to adrenalin-charged sports.
Day 11: Naha for Okinawa, Japan
Experience exciting Eisa, a traditional performance of drums, stringed music and dance in the streets of Okinawa in the summer. If you’re lucky you’ll catch a mass tug-of-war festival with huge ropes, a custom designed to bring good fortune for the coming year. Shurijo Castle is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers fascinating insight into the Ryukyuan Kingdom that ruled this area from the 15th to 19th centuries.
Day 12: Keelung for Taipei, Taiwan
Take an exhilarating high-speed elevator trip to the 89th floor of Taipei 101, one of the tallest buildings in the world. See ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and artworks at Taipei’s impressive National Palace Museum or indulge in the exotic flavours of the lively street food scene. Enjoy hiking and biking in the Yangmingshan National Park or marvel at the city’s richly decorated temples, such as the Confucius Temple.
Day 13: Day at Sea
Smart technology, robot bartenders and a capsule transporting you 300 feet above the ship are among the innovations on spectacular Ovation of the Seas. With skydiving, delectable dining and a vast entertainment complex, you’re living the dream.
Day 14: Hong Kong
Be blown away by the exhilaration of Hong Kong and its fascinating mix of East and West. Shop for silk, jade, souvenirs, fashions and high end goods in the markets and malls or take the funicular to the Peak for some spectacular views. Ride the historic Star Ferry from Hong Kong Island to Kowloon or experience a thrilling cable car ride to the impressive Big Buddha and the tranquil Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island.
Day 15: Day at Sea
Catch a film poolside, listen to live music or try your luck in the casino. From jaw-dropping interactive robotic performances at Two70 to award-winning West-End-style shows you’ll be blown away by the spectacular entertainment onboard Royal Caribbean.
Day 16: Manila, Philippines
Explore the historical Intramuros, an old colonial walled city which is home to the lovely gardens, plazas and fountains of Fort Santiago, a citadel and military prison. Visit Casa Manila, an opulent reproduction of a Spanish colonial house built by Imelda Marcos, with its lavish interior design. For excitement head for the skyscrapers, shops, galleries, markets, bars and restaurants of bustling downtown Manila.
Day 17: Boracay, Philippines
Enjoy people watching on lively Boracay, a small island in the Philippines south of Manila. Once an out-of-the-way paradise, Boracay’s white sand beaches and turquoise seas are popular with visitors, giving the island a youthful and energetic vibe. For adventure try parasailing, zip-lining, scuba diving and snorkelling or go island hopping in some of Boracay’s nearby islands and secluded coves.
Day 18-19: Day at Sea
Relax in a whirlpool, go rock climbing, roller skating or surfing, work out in the gym, get pampered in the spa, savour a cocktail on deck or have a go at sky diving. Whatever holiday activities you adore they’re on Royal Caribbean. Day 21: Singapore
Taste Singapore’s mouth-watering cuisine, influenced by the flavours of Malaysia, China and India. Visit the stunning Botanic Gardens and National Orchid Garden or the exotic Jurong Bird Park to see colourful toucans, pelicans, eagles and parrots. Take a ferry to the islands for unspoilt beaches or enjoy south-east Asian art at the National Gallery. A temple in Singapore’s Chinatown is said to house one of the Buddha's teeth.
Day 22: Fly Singapore » UK
Check out of your 4* Singapore hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
