Day 2: Shanghai
On arrival you'll be met by your guide and transferred to your 4* hotel for a 2-night stay.
Day 3: Shanghai
Today’s explorations include a visit to the tranquil Yu Garden and bustling old town. Next, discover the ancient artefacts and fine arts of the Shanghai Museum. Take an educational journey through the production of silk, one of China’s most famous and luxurious materials, at the Silk Museum. Later, enjoy a cruise on the mighty Huangpu River before enjoying a Shanghainese meal this evening. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 4: Shanghai » Xian
Fly to Xian today. Once arrived, transfer to your 4* hotel for a 2-night stay. Visit the lovely Little Wild Goose Pagoda and this evening, dine on a delicious feast of Shui Jiao dumplings. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 5: Xian
Come face to face with the impressive Terracotta Warriors, built to protect the first emperor in the afterlife. Within the museum area the warriors can be seen in three different ‘pits’, which are active archaeological digs. Next, visit the Xian Arts and Ceramics Exhibition Centre to see smaller models of the warriors being made. Later, stroll on the beautifully preserved 14th century city walls that enclose Xian’s old town. Breakfast and Lunch included.
Day 6: Beijing
Board your bullet train to Beijing, China’s capital for your 2-night stay. Walk across the lengths of Tiananmen Square and into the magnificent Forbidden City. Soak up the harmonious ambience of the Temple of Heaven before feasting on the city’s most famous dish – Peking duck. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 7: Beijing
Rise early this morning and head out of Beijing to the Great Wall, arguably China’s most famous structure. Take a walk on this magnificent structure whilst admiring the dramatic scenery. Next, learn about one of China’s most symbolic and important materials at the Jade Museum. End your day with a wander round the Summer Palace before enjoying a Chinese acrobatic show this evening. Breakfast and Lunch included.
Day 8: Embark Quantum of the Seas - Tianjin for Beijing
Check out of your Beijing hotel and transfer to Tianjin Port for embarkation.
Day 9: Day at Sea
Sit back, kick off your shoes and put your feet up during our 'at sea' days, where you can chill in the bar, lounge by the pool or enjoy a relaxing beauty treatment in the spa. For simple pleasures, why not try a game of table tennis? Or if you’re feeling energetic, now’s the chance to explore all the amazing activities the ship has to offer, from spectacular, West-End-style entertainment to adrenalin-charged sports.
Day 10: Fukuoka, Japan
Try tonkotsu ramen, a Japanese noodle soup sold at street stalls in Fukuoka, on Japan’s Kyushu Island. Explore the city’s ancient temples, beaches and modern shopping malls, or visit the impressive Fukuoka Art Museum in Ohori Park, with works by Miro, Chagall, Warhol and Asian artists. Maizuru Park contains ruins of the 17th-century Fukuoka Castle and has stunning displays of wisteria and cherry blossom in spring.
Day 11: Day at Sea
Relax in a whirlpool, go rock climbing, sky diving or surfing, work out in the gym, get pampered in the spa, savour a cocktail on deck or have fun on the bumper cars. Whatever holiday activities you adore they’re on Royal Caribbean.
Day 12: Taipei, Taiwan
Take an exhilarating high-speed elevator trip to the 89th floor of Taipei 101, one of the tallest buildings in the world. See ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and artworks at Taipei’s impressive National Palace Museum or indulge in the exotic flavours of the lively street food scene. Enjoy hiking and biking in the Yangmingshan National Park or marvel at the city’s richly decorated temples, such as the Confucius Temple.
Day 13: Day at Sea
Be inspired by magnificent Quantum of the Seas, with its exceptional entertainment, ground-breaking technology and incredible restaurants, including Jamie’s Italian. Skydiving, dodgems, dancing robots – it’s a thrill a minute.
Day 14-15: Hong Kong, China
Be blown away by the exhilaration of Hong Kong and its fascinating mix of East and West. Shop for silk, jade, souvenirs, fashions and high end goods in the markets and malls or take the funicular to the Peak for some spectacular views. Ride the historic Star Ferry from Hong Kong Island to Kowloon or experience a thrilling cable car ride to the impressive Big Buddha and the tranquil Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island.
Day 16: Hue/Danang (Chan May), Vietnam
Hang out at beautiful China Beach, where American soldiers used to go for rest and recreation during the Vietnam War. Discover the delicious street food in downtown Da Nang or the wonders of Hu?, on the Perfume River, the former seat of the Nguyen Dynasty. Its 19th century Citadel protected the Imperial City, with its opulent palaces and shrines, including the Forbidden Purple City, once the home of emperors.
Day 17: Day at Sea
You’ll find a fabulous choice of mouth-watering food in our superb cafes, bars and restaurants, whether you prefer dining in style or going with the flow. From exotic global flavours to familiar favourites, there’s something for all tastes.
Day 18: Ho Chi Minh (Phu My), Vietnam
Explore the tunnels where Viet Cong fighters lived during the Vietnam War. See the mix of French colonial, Asian and modern architecture in the former Saigon and visit The History Museum for 2000 years of Vietnamese history. Sample the tantalising food stalls of Ben Thanh Market and tour the incense-filled Jade Emperor Pagoda, dedicated to a Taoist god. For impressive views, visit the 68-storey Bitexco Financial Tower.
Day 19: Day at Sea
Catch a 3D film, listen to live music or try your luck in the casino. From jaw-dropping interactive robotic performances at Two70 to award-winning West-End-style shows you’ll be blown away by the spectacular entertainment onboard Royal Caribbean.
Day 20: Disembark in Singapore
Disembark in Singapore and a private transfer will take you to your 4* hotel for a 2 night stay.
Day 21: Singapore
Taste Singapore’s mouth-watering cuisine, influenced by the flavours of Malaysia, China and India. Visit the stunning Botanic Gardens and National Orchid Garden or the exotic Jurong Bird Park to see colourful toucans, pelicans, eagles and parrots. Take a ferry to the islands for unspoilt beaches or enjoy south-east Asian art at the National Gallery. A temple in Singapore’s Chinatown is said to house one of the Buddha's teeth.
Day 22: Fly Singapore » UK
Check out of your hotel and a private transfer will take you to the airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
