2010 & 2011 Cunard Line's World Cruises

As early as 1840, the mail ship Britannia laid down the foundations of
Cunard’s enviable reputation for reliability. As the century progressed,
our liners grew to epitomise the adventurous, pioneering spirit of those intrepid
souls who followed their destiny across the Atlantic and sought their slice of
prosperity in the New World. As guests began to cross the Atlantic in ever greater
numbers, our name became a byword for peerless glamour. Then in 1922, our
yearning to behold distant horizons led us to introduce the World Cruise concept,
as Laconia completed a dramatic full circle of the globe.
