ACCOMMODATION

After a day of exploring the world, its exotic cuisine and interesting cultures, there’s nothing better than returning to the comfort of your private stateroom. They have designed every one of their staterooms to be a comfortable, relaxing place for you to rest after your adventures.

The staterooms vary by ship, but every room offers a television, telephone, en-suite facilities, shower, vanity area and even a hairdryer.

• Interior Stateroom
  Relax in all the comfort of the interior staterooms. These well-appointed rooms are excellent value. For an interior room with a view, there are our Promenade staterooms, available on all Voyager Family ships. They offer all the features of a standard stateroom, plus a bowed window overlooking the Royal Promenade.
• Ocean View Staterooms
  Never miss a thing when you return to your room. Take in spectacular sights and enjoy the beautiful ocean view while luxuriating in your personal space. These staterooms have two twin beds, which can convert into a queen size double bed, vanity area and en-suite facilities.
• Balcony Stateroom
  Imagine opening your balcony door to have breakfast in fresh air and see a new breathtaking part of the world each morning. A stateroom with a balcony is a great way to make your cruise adventure even more memorable and truly take in your destination.
• Royal Suites
  A great way to travel in style and give your family more space, while keeping everyone together. These suites offer more room, comfort and luxury. Most come with a private balcony and all include standard features. Some suites, like the Royal Loft or Ultimate Family, even include complimentary concierge service, which includes access to a private lounge as well as other unique amenities such as Royal Genie, for personalised VIP services; VOOM, the fastest internet connection at sea; private jacuzzi; complimentary dining and beverage packages; family fun with life-sized Connect-Four, table-tennis via convertible dining tables, in-suite cinema, top video games and more!

Refreshments are available day and night – choose from formal dining in an elegant restaurant, to open-seating dinners and alfresco dining, to fast food, afternoon teas and ice cream in the Windjammer Cafe.

Enjoy the perfect steak in the Chops Grille or the atmospheric surroundings of Portofino, Royal Caribbean’s intimate Italian restaurant. Respect for the ocean is a way of life at Royal Caribbean, and this ethos has led them to achieve many environmental goals from the reduction of waste and lower carbon footprint, to sustainable sourcing and wildlife preservation.

• ECO-FRIENDLY TOURISM
  Partnering with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Royal Caribbean are focused on ethical tourism and now offer 1,500 tours across their fleet that are certified to the Global Sustainable Tourism (GSTC) standard.
• REDUCE EMISSIONS
  In addition, 60% of their ships are equipped with Advanced Emissions Purification (AEP) systems. Since 2005, Royal Caribbean have cut down on emissions by 35% and have now introduced a new target to reduce emissions by a further 25% in 2025!
• INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY
  Royal Caribbean have digitally transformed themselves to become more energy efficient. Using AI to optimally route ships for weather safety, fuel efficiency, and guest comfort, they can even keep track of how much energy a single oven is using in a ship’s galley.
• ALTERNATIVE FUEL
  Whilst designing their next class of ships to use Liquified Natural Gas (LNG), a cleaner form of energy, Royal Caribbean is also investing and exploring fuel cells as an alternative power source for some hotel operations on board their newest ships.
• JOURNEY TO ZERO WASTE
  With their motto to reuse and recycle, 100% of the Royal Caribbean fleet is equipped to be landfill free, and in the last two years, they have even reduced their single-use plastic consumption by 60%!
• SOURCING GOALS
  Doing their part for ocean and wildlife conservation means that even the food served on Royal Caribbean ships will be sustainably sourced. With the oceans covering 71% of Earth, it is imperative that the waters, along with all marine life are protected. This is why Royal Caribbean are now doing even more to improve their supply chain. Their aim is to source 90% of wild-caught seafood from MSC-certified fisheries and 75% of farmed seafood from ASC-certified farms in North America and Europe.
