MS Fridtjof Nansen, Hurtigruten’s new hybrid powered expedition ship will be ready earlier than expected!
Be amongst the very first guests to sail on MS Fridtjof Nansen, prior even to her Inaugural season commencing 01 April 2020.
Hurtigruten are delighted that MS Fridtjof Nansen will be delivered to them earlier than scheduled, allowing them to prepare a series of Showcase Voyages for the UK. As such, with little notice, they will operate Showcase Voyages as modified expedition cruise experiences, meaning that a number of their signature inclusions will be either knowingly reduced, or they anticipate adjustment at short notice onboard for operational reasons.
As part of the Showcase Voyages series prior to her Inaugural season, they may invite you to put the ship’s onboard and shoreside activities ‘through its paces’. In these instances, they will ask you for your honest and constructive feedback; and ask for your flexibility, patience and understanding, should areas for improvement be identified during these Showcase Voyages.

MS Fridtjof Nansen has 3 categories of cabins – Polar Outside, Arctic Superior and Expedition Suite – with various cabin grades nesting within these categories. For your Showcase Voyage, within the flexible pricing structure, we will offer one price per category of cabin, with your grade and specific individual cabin number then assigned at point of embarkation.
