Considered the coffee capital of the world, call in at the first ever Starbucks, established in 1971, at Pike Place Market.
San Francisco has the perks of city life with thousands of opportunities for an outdoor adventure too. Ride on the world’s last manually operated cable car on Powell Street or say hello to the sea lions on Pier 39. Take part in a night tour of Alcatraz, the world’s most notorious prison, an eerie experience with gorgeous sunset views of Golden Gate Bridge. If you love to explore via bike, cycle over one of the longest suspension bridges in the world or down eight hairpin turns on the iconic Lombard Street. Relax with an afternoon of wine tasting in Napa Valley, a renowned Californian wine-producing region.
If sunny, summer weather is what you are after, Santa Barbara is for you. With more than 300 days of sunshine a year, this chic beachside town, 100 miles north of LA, has everything you need for a relaxing day on the sand.
Los Angeles is arguably the most famous destination along the California coast. This ultimate cosmopolitan city is home to movie stars, stylish restaurants and wonderful wilderness. San Diego, America’s finest city, is packed with sandy beaches, stunning surfing conditions and some of the best year-round weather. The laid back culture of San Diego makes it a popular tourist destination especially with spots like Point Loma, La Jolla Cove and Balboa Park. After a busy day exploring, visit the GasLamp Quarter for some buzzing nightlife.

Best Time To Visit the USA
A luxury cruise around the USA would be possible all year round. Between June and September offers the best weather on the East Coast, however if you enjoy festivities, the winter months will ensure you see New Year’s Eve in Times Square or Mardi Gras in New Orleans. On the West Coast, it is best to visit in spring or autumn. The weather will still be warm but milder and more comfortable than the peak of summer.
