To experience more of the outdoors, take a stroll along the Sculpture and Shore Walk. A coastal road with remarkable views across the bay of the Esjan mountain range and the home of the Sun Voyager. Unwind in the natural hot springs of the Blue Lagoon. Soak in the geothermal, mineral waters which are full of healing properties, with a nutrient-rich mud mask.

In the evening, visit the atmospheric restaurant, Dill. With traditional Icelandic methods and a strong sustainability spirit, the creative dishes are unmissable.
Our experts say
Truly the Land of Fire & Ice! I find the country beautiful and fascinating, and yet I’ve explored so little of it so far! From hot springs and startling geysers, to thundering waterfalls and utterly incredible scenery, there’s wonder around every corner. Winter nights are simply magical. Brave the cold here to glimpse some of the best Aurora Borealis displays on the planet! Reykjavik harbours enough history, charm, shopping, culture and Icelandic humour to keep a day visitor entertained. However, I cannot recommend enough making sure your visit here is an overnight one. I look forward to my third visit. when I fully intend to experience this beautiful country during the summer months. And of course, that takes advantage of the Midnight Sun season.

Best Time To Visit Iceland
Regardless of the season, a cruise around Iceland is a treat all year round. In summer, you are welcomed with immensely long hours of sunlight. This gives you copious amounts of time to explore all that Iceland has to offer. You might encounter the Midnight Sun, when the sun remains visible for 24 hours. Experience the very best of Iceland under a sun that never sets. Alongside breathtaking coastal landscapes, expect to see an abundance of wildlife, including puffins, Icelandic ponies and whales.
In the winter months, there is a greater chance of seeing the Northern Lights, one of the greatest natural wonders of our world. There are promises of intense panoramic views of snow-capped mountains, shimmering waterfalls and glittering glaciers.
