Regent Seven Seas Cruises have just unveiled an exciting new Spotlight Voyage as part of its ongoing partnership with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team. This latest announcement marks the next phase of collaboration between the luxury cruise line and the prestigious Formula One racing team. Tailored specifically for Formula One enthusiasts, the voyage is set to sail in the summer of 2025 and will be hosted by former Formula One driver Pedro de la Rosa.
An Unforgettable Mediterranean Journey
Kicking off on July 22, 2025, this 10-night Mediterranean cruise promises a unique experience for luxury travellers and motor racing fans alike. Pedro de la Rosa, along with current members of the Aston Martin Aramco team, including engineers and executives, will be onboard to engage with guests. Representatives from Aston Martin’s team will also be present, offering workshops on innovation and design.
The voyage will chart a stunning course along Spain’s coastline, starting from de la Rosa’s hometown of Barcelona. The itinerary includes stops in Valencia, Ibiza, and Palma de Mallorca before heading east to Marseille and Saint-Tropez in France. The journey will continue south along Italy’s coast, visiting Monte Carlo, Portofino, and Livorno, and will culminate in Rome’s port, Civitavecchia.

Guests will enjoy intimate Q&A sessions with de la Rosa. Who will share his experiences from over 100 Grand Prix races. “I am thrilled to host this exclusive Spotlight Voyage aboard with our friends at Regent and even more excited to be sailing from my hometown of Barcelona,” said de la Rosa, who also serves as a team ambassador for Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team.
Exclusive Onboard and Shoreside Experiences
The cruise will feature a series of masterclasses, workshops, and panel discussions. All conducted by additional members of the Aston Martin Formula One Team. A full size replica of one of the team’s race cars, complete with the Regent logo, will be displayed on a public deck of the Seven Seas Splendor. An Aston Martin simulator will also be available, allowing guests to test their skills on a virtual circuit.
Onshore, the itinerary includes unique driving and motor-racing experiences at each port of call. A highlight of the trip will be Monte Carlo, where guests can immerse themselves in the glamour of Monaco. The bespoke tour includes visits to the Classic Car Collection. A thrilling walk on the Monaco Circuit, and an exploration of Prince Rainer’s personal car collection. The day will end with a panoramic helicopter flight over the circuit, the quintessential race day experience.
Extended Land Programs
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has also curated pre- and post-cruise land programs for those wishing to extend their adventure. In Barcelona, guests can enjoy a 3-night pre-cruise experience. Featuring a drive on the Montjuic Historical Street F1 Racetrack and a scenic helicopter tour.
Post-cruise, travellers can choose between a 4-night journey through Italy’s heartland, including visits to Ferrari and Lamborghini museums and the Imola Racetrack. Or a 5-night Aston Martin Aramco Race Weekend experience in Hungary, complete with a hotel stay in Budapest.
