Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is preparing to introduce two luxurious additions to its fleet over the next two years, named S.S. Victoria and S.S. Elisabeth. These sophisticated vessels are scheduled to grace the waters of Europe in 2024 and 2025, thanks to a three-year bareboat charter agreement with Seaside Collection.
Notably, these ships are not newcomers to the world of cruising. Previously, they sailed as the Crystal Bach and Crystal Mahler within the river fleet of Crystal Cruises and more recently as part of Riverside Luxury Cruises’ offerings. Both vessels were originally custom-designed for Crystal River Cruises, gaining acclaim for their innovative layouts and top-tier staterooms. Uniworld has now rebranded and enhanced its Super Ship fleet with these acquisitions. They enchance Uniworld’s reputation for exquisite decor, exceptional service, and unmatched cruise experiences.
Both vessels are identical, offering a capacity to accommodate 110 guests in 55 opulent suites and staterooms. In a first for Uniworld, guests can look forward to two-bedroom accommodations by interconnecting suites.
In March 2024, S.S. Victoria is poised to make a splendid debut in Amsterdam. Her inaugural voyage will feature the eight-day “Holland and Belgium at Tulip Time” cruise. Subsequently, she will navigate the Castles Along the Rhine route and conclude her 2024 season with the Belgium Holiday Markets tour.
Highlights of the S. S. Elisabeth & S. S. Victoria
The Largest Suite in Europe
Notably, every room category on both the S.S. Victoria and the S.S. Elisabeth offers more spacious accommodations than the average river cruise. However, what truly sets them apart are the two Royal Suites, each unrivaled in size on Europe’s rivers. These impressive 506 sq. ft suites can even be combined with adjoining standard suites to create a generous 759 sq. ft space featuring two bedrooms connected by a separate living room.
The Rooftop Bar
Few experiences rival the pleasure of river cruising like unwinding on the sundeck with a drink in hand while watching the world pass by. Now, guests can savour this quintessential experience from the bar area on both of these new Super Ships.
Dining
Uniworld’s culinary teams are set to delight guests with delectable, regionally-inspired cuisine in multiple dining venues. These include a main dining room with panoramic views, a laid-back bistro adjacent to the lounge, and the Vintage Room, which can be reserved for private dinners.
Wellness Amenities
These ships provide a haven for relaxation and rejuvenation. Take a dip in the tranquil swimming pool onboard each vessel, hit the well-appointed fitness centre for your workout regimen, or book a spa treatment with one of the skilled massage therapists for a truly rejuvenating experience.
