Dr. James McClintock, climate scientist
James is a noted climate change expert who has authored over 235 research publications and four books. James has led 14 expeditions with A&K to the White Continent and was recently awarded the Antarctica Service Medal. James has voyaged to both polar regions for more than three decades and has engaged in geology expeditions throughout. He also served as a researcher the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
Dr. Patricia Silva, ornithology lecturer
Born in Mercedes, Uruguay, Patricia received her doctoral degree at the National University of Mar del Plata in Argentina, where she continues her research today. In addition to sharing her enthusiasm as an ornithologist and artist on voyages from South America to the South Pacific, she has participated in over a dozen Antarctic research expeditions and is the current editor of the IAATO Save the Albatross Campaign newsletter.
