Celebrity Cruises have released full details of their new ship Celebrity Beyond℠ which is now on sale.
Setting sail from Southampton on 27 April 2022, she’ll head to the Mediterranean, where she’ll offer 9- & 10-night itineraries between Barcelona and Rome (Civitavecchia).
After travelling across the Atlantic to New York on 12 October 2022, she’ll head down the US East Coast to Fort Lauderdale, where she’ll then offer Caribbean sailings featuring the Dominican Republic, Bahamas and Mexico.
Celebrity Beyond℠ is the third ship in the revolutionary Edge® series, Celebrity Beyond℠ will continue to elevate the incredibly innovative and transformative fleet at Celebrity Cruises.
She’s actually longer, taller, and promises even more luxurious indulgences onboard than her sisters!
Featuring all of the venues and innovations that are so popular aboard the Edge Series, from the Magic Carpet to the incredible suites of The Retreat, Beyond will offer gorgeous enhancements to these.
Once again architect Tom Wright, and interior designer Kelly Hoppen CBE have been integral to the planning and realisation of the new designs and enhancements around the ship.
The Retreat Sundeck is 40% larger, multi-deck and allows many more options and spaces to truly relax in. The Retreat’s exclusive restaurant Luminae is also larger, and closer to the Suite space, and redesigned with floor-to-ceiling views.
The Resort Deck still features the popular cabanas, but also features larger sunken-seating areas – perfect for socialising with new friends! And the eye-catching sculpture? Let’s just say “wow!” Expect to see the circus style Elephant all over Instagram!
The Rooftop Garden will also feature new cantilevered floating pools – they actually go 6.5 feet over the side of the ship!
The Sunset Bar has always been a special space, and one of Celebrity customers’ favourites. Well now, it’s an incredible 180% larger! Bigger doesn’t mean it’s less welcoming… in fact its injection of traditional Moroccan touches make it still feel like a relaxing and informal place to be. Nate Berkus has designed the area beautifully; he’s especially proud of the “Niches” – providing quiet spaces to enjoy intimate conversations and moments.
Looking for a new culinary experience? Chef Daniel Boulud presents his first signature restaurant at sea, Le Voyage. A very exclusive space, with just 50 seats, and a separate entrance & exit creating a very calming atmosphere.
Of course with all that extra space it would have been rude not to have expanded the Grand Plaza! The Martini Bar is larger and circular, there’s additional terraced seating, and of course that incredible focal point – the chandelier – has been enhanced to create a landscape across the ceiling.
Celebrity Beyond will also feature new well-being lifestyle brand Goop (by Gwyneth Paltrow)!

The ship’s construction started back in January 2020 as the first piece of steel was cut at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.
She’ll join Celebrity Apex℠ and Celebrity Edge®, named as one of TIME Magazine’s 2019 World’s Greatest Places for its ground-breaking design and numerous innovations like the cantilevered Magic Carpet®, as well as accommodations, wellness and entertainment offerings like no other.
