Cruise to… The British Isles
If the happenings of 2020 showed us all one thing… it’s that there’s SO MUCH ON OUR DOORSTEP in the UK!
When travel restrictions, tiers, or even the weather allowed, we all got out and about in our local areas and discovered some unexpected gems. But from what we’ve seen on our friends’ social media feeds, and programmes on the TV like Spring/Winter Watch, The Last Kingdom, The Crown, even “I’m A Celebrity”!; we’re itching to venture a little further around our own fair isles. In fact, some of the most fantastical filming locations are within our own borders – from Star Wars on the Isle of Skye, to Game of Thrones in numerous locations around Belfast.
And, what could be a better way than setting sail from the UK to places you may never have thought of visiting in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland?

Why Though?
Okay, okay… so when it comes to cruise holidays, yes, we can be a little biased. But.
Let’s break it down… if we considered a 12-night UK break…
12 nights in a 4* UK hotel (B&B board) – £1,200
(with swimming pools/gym facilities)
12 lunches with soft drinks – £600
12 dinners in fine-dining establishments – £1,200
3 West End style production shows – £300
We’re at £3,300 per couple, and that’s just covering the basics…
All of that and so much more is included in your cruise fare.
Plus, all that time you might spend in the car or on a train travelling to new destinations, would be spent relaxing aboard a luxurious ship with facilities to match your mood. There’s no getting lost, dealing with timetable disruption, or having to hunt down somewhere you haven’t already explored each day.
There’s no reason why the Ultimate Staycation can’t be the best value holiday in the UK you’ve ever taken!

Think You Know The UK?
Much of the mainland UK is reasonably accessible to each of us, providing there are good transport links. But what about the Channel Islands, like Guernsey and Jersey. How about the rugged Orkney Islands? Scotland’s Hebridean islands are famed for dramatic landscapes, but also for Whisky! – Islay, Mull, Jura… the list goes on!
